Cannabidiol, sometimes known as CBD, is the second most frequent active component in Cannabis Oil (marijuana). Despite being an essential component of therapeutic marijuana, CBD is either taken directly from the related hemp plant or manufactured in a lab. Among the many hundreds of components in marijuana, CBD doesn’t make you feel good by itself.
The World Health Organization stated in a report that “CBD exhibits no signs of misuse or dependence potential in humans. There is now no evidence that using pure CBD is related to any issues with public health.” According to the findings of a recent study published in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology, “acute CBD alone is unlikely to significantly impair daily functioning or workplace performance.”
